Thermal and Lighting Surveys
Variances in temperature and lighting are often areas for complaint within offices, especially those that are open plan.
Viridis have experience in assessing the light and temperature levels to determine if they are suitable and adequate - for example some detailed tasks will require more lighting that other more general tasks and employees who sit still for long periods may require a higher temperature than those undertaking a manual task. Following the assessment, a report will produced to indicate the current situation and make recommendations where required.
Sick building syndrome (SBS) often displays itself as staff complaining of headaches, fatigue, dry eyes, problems with concentration and other similar symptoms. SBS is particularly common in open plan offices especially in the summer months.
